Temperatures during the days are normally very pleasant. June through August are our winter months with the end of June through the first of August as the coldest. Temperatures may range from freezing at night to the 70's in the daytime. As you can see from the chart below, from mid May through mid August early mornings and evenings tend to be cool/cold, so don't forget to bring a jacket and gloves. Although the daytime temperatures can be quite pleasant, I recommend layering your clothing so as the temperatures warm the outer layers can be removed.
| Month | Minimum | Maximum |
| March | 50 | 85 |
| April | 46 | 78 |
| May | 43 | 73 |
| June | 36 | 70 |
| July | 32 | 66 |
| August | 40 | 70 |
| September | 45 | 77 |
| October | 50 | 85 |
South Africa experiences summer rainfall, usually late November to early March, so early and late season hunts can expect some rain. The Limpopo Province has very little rainfall in the winter.
